Soil exploration<\/p><\/div>\n<h2 data-start=\"1574\" data-end=\"1625\">Improvement of subgrade and granular layers<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1627\" data-end=\"1792\">To mitigate the problem, the surface material was replaced by a layer of granular material, increasing the initial bearing capacity of the soil.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1794\" data-end=\"2092\">However, due to the soft condition of the natural soil, the necessary thicknesses were too great.
