Geosynthetic formed by a regular network of integrally connected elements with openings that allow interlocking with the surrounding soil, rock, earth and other materials to provide them with reinforcement. Composed of continuous elements joined by weaving techniques.

Fortgrid UX geogrids are used for the reinforcement of granular layers in the construction of retaining walls in reinforced soil and steep slopes. They show long-term stability in mechanical behavior through their low plastodeformation (low creep), which represents permanence in the reinforcement function over time and control of deformations in the reinforced structure.

Geogrid fibers are made from the exclusive G5 high-tenacity polyester (PET) multifilament and are coated with a copolymer that provides greater dimensional stability and the necessary protection during installation.
