Case: Dam reinforced with geotextiles

The suggested protection alternative consists of the creation of a dam reinforced with woven geotextiles. FORTEX BX650  at the crown of the slope: geotextile tubes were installed at the base - HYDROTUBE, in order to protect the shore against erosion and guarantee the overall stability of the sector. Finally, the entire slope was protected with the textile form – ARTICULATED QUILT.

Initially it is important to identify within these sectors the main geological, geomorphological and geotechnical characteristics, that is to say, that allow determining the behavior of the subsoil in each of the areas indicated for the project in order to determine its reconformation, reconstruction, stability of its slopes. and the foundation of its protections, in order to determine the most viable and adequate hydraulic structure to propose as protection.
