Learn about our solution IMPERTEX, which is a high-strength, waterproof IMPERTEX geosynthetic fabric consisting of a flat-woven textile substrate made from Poliéster’s exclusive high-strength G5 multifilament, impregnated with a coating copolymer that provides waterproofing and UV protection. It is characterized by being inert upon contact with water or vegetation, resistant to installation damage, and durable over the long term against mechanical stress and weather exposure; suitable for lining reservoirs, crown ditches, and ditches for managing surface runoff.

Waterproof geotextile IMPERTEX This high-strength material conforms to the contours of the terrain, ensuring maximum contact with the surface, and lies flat on the ground without wrinkles or creases, leaving a smooth surface. Installation efficiency is higher than with most lining or protection systems, and labor costs are lower. It does not require special installation equipment; it only needs to be secured with anchor trenches and requires less material transport to the job site, since its high resistance to puncture and tear means it does not require a protective geotextile, as is the case with geomembranes.

Along the anchor trenches, it is recommended to use J-shaped metal clips made of corrugated steel rod measuring 10x10x30 cm, cut at an angle. For installation, spacing between 60 and 180 cm is recommended, depending on the specific conditions of the project.

Waterproof geotextile IMPERTEX The high-strength geotextile is laid with its main direction (MD) parallel to the direction of water flow. Adjacent geotextile strips are joined by stitching and sealed with resin. When successive geotextile strips overlap, the upstream strip must be placed over the downstream strip, and/or the upstream slope strip over the downstream slope strip. The waterproof geosynthetic fabric IMPERTEX High resistance is offered in tan and green color according to the convenience of the project.
