GEOCONTAINERS: TYPES AND APPLICATIONS
HYDROBLOCK:
This is a rectangular-shaped GEOCONTAINER for on-site installation in hard-to-reach places. It is equipped with an internal structure, has handles for lateral fastening and has a capacity of approximately 1.45 m³. It is made of GEOTEXTIL WOVEN POLYESTER fabric encapsulated with a copolymer specially formulated to protect it from deterioration due to weathering, naturally aggressive humid environments, as well as from the abrasive action of water currents. It can be filled by hydraulic or mechanical means with the soil of the site or any kind of available earth material. Its use is recommended in hydraulic solutions with geocontainers. GEOCONTAINER:
It is a large element with rectangular shape, with dimensions according to the project of up to 14 m3 for on-site installation (with internal structure) or by overturning. They are manufactured with GEOTEXTIL HIGH TENACITY POLYESTER FABRIC, suitable to tolerate the stresses during filling and installation. The filling must be mechanical with the soil of the site or any kind of available earth material.
If the project requires it, GEOTEXTIL POLYESTER FABRIC encapsulated with a copolymer specially formulated to preserve it from deterioration due to weathering, naturally aggressive humid environments, as well as from the abrasive action of the current, eliminating the need to place additional protective elements on the exposed face of the formed structures.
Due to its size, it provides high hydrodynamic stability, with outstanding performance thanks to soil confinement, which prevents traction forces from eroding. The formed structures are considered flexible since they are formed by means of beam arrangements that tolerate foundation soil settlements, exceeding the performance of rigid solutions.

HYDROTUBE:
It is a GEOCONTAINER with tubular shape with perimeters up to 15 m for capacities between 1.2 and 12 m3 per linear meter, which are manufactured upon request according to the project conditions and are filled by hydraulic means, with a fluid mixture of sand and water. They are manufactured with GEOTEXTIL HIGH TENACITY POLYESTER FABRIC, with high resistance to tension, puncturing and tearing, which tolerate handling during installation and the conditions of the structure in service; from the hydraulic point of view, they offer an adequate balance between opening size, permittivity and percentage of open area, confining the filling sand while allowing the water flow to exit, achieving a dense final structure.
To extend the durability of the formed structure, it is recommended that a coating be used over the HYDROTUBE against torrential events and weathering. Its use is recommended in hydraulic applications such as:
